Background
Town Square Las Vegas is a shopping, dining and entertainment center on Las Vegas Boulevard. The 100-acre, open-air center features 22 buildings detailing a collage of Old World and contemporary architectural styles and includes an eclectic mix of retail and restaurants, an 18-screen movie theater and 350,000 square feet of Class “A” office space.
Challenge
Since Town Square sits on 100 acres, with drivable streets and 22 different buildings, it was an immense undertaking when trying to provide quality sound to enhance our guest experience. Mix in the fact that it features over 70 different building facades and it becomes virtually impossible to blend in exterior speakers and maintain the integrity of the property’s design. Solution South Central A\V was able to provide an in-ground speaker system that is virtually invisible to the eye, while providing complete sound coverage throughout the 100-acres. In addition, the system is broken up into zones, which allows for flexibility in both music selection and volume control. This has proved tremendously helpful during special events, holidays and store promotions.
Results
Beyond the initial installation, South Central A\V has been prompt in responding to service calls and providing technical support. We were so satisfied with the quality of work found in our center wide in-ground system that we also purchased two portable sound systems to use for special events and concerts. As with our in-ground system, the portable units have been a tremendous asset for Town Square.
Conclusion
We constantly get compliments from guests on our in-ground system and that is attributed to the professionalism of South Central A\V and their attention to detail.
